I also like storytelling. Under this page are a number of articles listed as sub-pages. Click one and let me know what you think.
If you are looking for a good internet resource for storytelling, you need to visit storyteller.net. There you will find a variety of free resources, such as articles on storytelling, sample stories, podcasts, and a directory of storytellers. The site also provides a number of resource recommendations and a store where you can purchase additional storytelling products.
If you are interested in retelling the stories of the Bible, you need to check out the Network of Biblical Storytellers. I’ve been a member for about two years. Their website includes some multimedia clips that include well-done examples of Biblical storytelling.
If you enjoy the stories of J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, Charles Williams, or their fellow inklings, be sure to investigate the Mythopoeic Society. I have thoroughly enjoyed how the society’s newsletter and journal have improved both my knowledge of these wonderful authors and my enjoyment of their works. Their member resources are written for both academic and popular audiences (not that those two categories are mutually exclusive, but they do serve different purposes).
